A New Chapter for The Inclusive Coworker
How I’m showing up more fully — and what’s coming next for you.
Dear lovely coworking enthusiast,
I wanted to share a little update with you about where The Inclusive Coworker is headed.
This comes after a personal milestone, and while I usually keep this newsletter focused on the coworking industry, I couldn’t resist letting you in on the happy news that I got married last month on the summer solstice!
Surrounded by our family and close friends, my husband (!), Ed, and I tied the knot at the gorgeous Holkham Hall in Norfolk, a special place for us both. It was an extremely hot day, but a wonderful one that we’ll never forget.
An ever-evolving mission
It’s fair to say that in the months leading up to our big day, I simply wasn’t prepared for how all-consuming wedding planning is. And, while I can confidently add ‘planning a large-scale event’ to my skillset, I’ve returned from my honeymoon with more headspace to reflect on the direction of The Inclusive Coworker.
I’d love to share with you what’s coming next…
The Inclusive Coworker is a reader-supported publication. So first, allow me to extend my thanks to you, cherished reader, for engaging with this newsletter. Your support means the world to me.
Last July, I launched The Inclusive Coworker as an outlet to shine a light on the inclusive and people-first nature of the coworking industry. But, this newsletter has evolved into something a little bit deeper than that — becoming a corner of the internet that celebrates the power of community, connection, and the change that coworking spaces, operators, and community builders bring to their communities and local neighbourhoods.
My ambition remains that this newsletter inspires you on your coworking business journey. I’m proud of what’s been built here, and I want to continue deepening its value, especially for those of you building or managing coworking spaces yourselves.
To honour the time and care that goes into each piece, consider becoming a paid subscriber for £4 a month (the price of a coffee) and £37 a year.
What’s next?
I’m deeply committed to staying part of the global coworking movement as a meaningful, ongoing voice. To do that, I’m choosing to invest more time and energy into The Inclusive Coworker — and into this incredible community (yes, that means you!).
Paid subscribers will start receiving a monthly insights article packed with marketing strategies for your coworking business and tailored advice from coworking founders. You’ll also have access to the full archive of posts. If you run or support a coworking space, this is for you.
For my beloved founding members (£90 a year), you receive all of the above plus a bespoke 1-hour marketing session with me, where we’ll chat about brand awareness, and I’ll help you put some actionable steps together to drive your coworking business forward with confidence.
My commitment to coworking
If you're not ready to upgrade yet, don’t worry — you still have access to a more general monthly piece on the coworking industry, and a fortnightly People Make Coworking interview. If we haven’t yet spoken for this series and you’d like to be featured, I’d love to hear from you.
My goal is to continue showing up with value, depth, and genuine care — and to keep fueling this growing community of thoughtful coworking leaders.
I can’t wait to continue being part of your coworking journey. Thank you again for being part of mine 💙
Lucy
